Sponsorship Opportunities

Polk Works' website is viewed by hundreds of candidates and employers each day. Take advantage of this exposure for your company:

     1.  One inch logo advertisement with link exchange ~ $250 per month. Your logo will appear on one page within this website with an active link to your company or organization. To appear on our home page, a very pride position ~$500 per month 

    2.  Add your company logo to our Mobile One-Stop Unit ~$1,000 per month or $10,000 for 12 months. Our Mobile One-Stop is constantly on the road visiting cities throughout Polk County providing One-Stop services in our rual areas. Your logo will be visibly displayed and provide excellent exposure for applicants in the general public.

    3.  Event Sponsorships 
       ACES Annual Golf Tournament - The Aces Golf Tournament began in 2004 as an initiative to address workforce literacy in our county. This is no ordinary tournament! Aces has raised over $600,00 allowing Polk Works to support 18 GED sites, serving thousands of people and awarding over 500 GED's.  A par 3 Hole-in-One tournament that gives players a change to win at least $20,000 on each hole.  The best part is all proceeds go toward workforce development and literacy in Polk County.

        Annual Meeting & Best Places to Works Awards - Polk Works recognizes companies that have taken the lead in developing exceptional workplaces to improve the quality of life for their employees and indivduals who have made significant contributions to workforce and economic development initiatives.  These prestigous awards recognize the unique, forward-thinking philosoply of those businesses and employers who excel in the areas of motivating, retaining, training and developing their employees while striving to improve Polk County and its business community.

        State of the Workforce Summit - State of the Workforce Summit offers company executives, education staff, community leaders, human resource profressionals and the general public with cutting edge information about topics in business and the impact on the economy.  Workshops with renowned speakers that include; employment law, strategic planning, employer misconduct, workplace torts and the state of our economy.  Human resources staff will also receive continuing education credits for their participation in the Summit.

        Roundtable Sponsor (September - May) - $500 annually
Hot topic presentations and discussions are facilitated by expert in a workshop atomosphere so business and community leaders can benefit from the latest information on employer issues and challenges.   Roundtables earn human resources professional recertification credits (HRCI).  A sponsorship here allows for refreshments for those attending each session.  The sponsorship opportunity is available for companies to sponsor individual roundtable sessions or for the entire series.  Your logo or company name will be displayed in all promotional materials and posted at the event.

        Polk Works Board Meetings - Polk Works is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the business and education community of Polk County.  Business owners, executives, and community leaders serving on the Board look at critical workforce issues and develop strategic planning goals & objectives.  By sponsoring a board meeting, you will have the opportunity to give a five minute pitch about your company to the full board.  This face to face networking opportunity is invaluable and gives a company a chance to promote their business in a room full of local business profressionals.

        "What If?" Symposium (March) - The "What If?" symposium is one of the newest events that Polk Works offers.  This event is focused on youth between the ages of 14 and 21.  The premise is based on the concept, "What if your dreams of becoming a professional athlete or superstar do not come true."  Polk Works provides a youth focused career and education fair to guide students on the right career path.  Both in-kind and monetary sponsorships are needed.

        Job Fair/Virtual Job Fairs - Polk Works continuously strives to provide a sustainable workforce in Polk County.  We hold several job fairs, as well as, Virtual Job Fairs throughout the year.  A Virtual Job Fair sponsorships is $250.   Partnership opportunities are available to provide locations, promotional materials and refreshments for employers. 

        Professional Networking Group -  Polk Works holds monthly networking events for unemployed professionals.  These meetings provide opportunities for social networking and exchanging of job search techniques leading to enhanced job prospects.  By sponsoring our Professional Networking Group your company will be on all promotional materials and allow for refreshment to be provided.
